Flypast Studhome of competition horses
Flypast Stud was started in 1999, based in Dormansland, Surrey, when two mares went to the stallions Andes and Magic Story, both TBs standing near Gatwick Airport.  The son of Magic Story, Flypast Legend, went on to be runner up in the 2004 Burghley Young Event Horse Final, was 5th in 2005, won points at Intermediate Eventing and was sold to the USA.
In 2004, following the end of my marriage, the Stud moved to South Bucks and is now centered around Seer Green.  The hores are raised on good land, fenced with post and rail. They are regularly wormed and trimmed and they have stabling when the weather is poor.
The foundation mare, The "A" Lady, died in 2011, aged 20, having bred 5 beautiful foals, mostly by TB stallions. Flypast Legend was her first foal.
Miss Mill, a champion Registered Irish Draught mare, died in 2005, having bred some superb foals who have won in hand and are magnificent examples of this wonderful breed.
Sea Mist is the resident RID mare, whose son Skip and Sea is a graded stallion and she has a graded daughter, Flypast White Gold and another two pure bred daughters.
Sealark was a Connemara x TB mare who was Queen of her Pony Club branch before injury cut short her career.  She had two fillies, one by a TB, No Submission and another by the famous Connemara stallion Templebready Fear Bui. She died in 2011.
The aim of this small stud is to breed sound, well conformed and active horses, both Irish Draught and Sport Horses.
Please enjoy the site and I hope you like my horses.
